‘Adventures Offshore’ is a sail training charity, part of Essex Scouts, offering a wide range of offshore sailing adventures to young people and adults, in UK waters and beyond.
They have been in touch as they have a number of unfilled places on their 2018 calendar, particularly suited to 14+ young people, including overseas trips.
42nd Leicester (Glenfield) Scout Group recently took 11 Scouts and Explorers on a 4 day trip aboard the Offshore Adventure boats, and will be looking to book again next year.
The young adults crew the boat, under the guidance of the skipper and first mate, crew the boats, cook in the galley and are responsible keeping the boat clean and tidy.
